Dr. R. Kalayarasan is a renowned Surgical Gastroenterologist and HPB Surgeon with expertise in advanced gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, pancreatic, colorectal, robotic, and liver transplant surgery. Dr. R. Kalayarasan is currently working as Senior Consultant in Surgical Gastroenterology, HPB & Liver Transplant Surgery at Apollo Hospitals, Chennai. He specializes in the management of complex gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, pancreatic, and GI oncological conditions using advanced laparoscopic, robotic, and minimally invasive surgical techniques.

He has extensive experience in liver surgery, pancreatic surgery, colorectal surgery, upper GI surgery, GI oncology, and liver transplant-related procedures. His clinical practice focuses on precision surgery, enhanced recovery protocols, and multidisciplinary management of gastrointestinal disorders and cancers.
