Dr. Sandeep Nayak is a nationally and internationally recognized Surgical Oncologist and Robotic Cancer Surgeon with over two decades of experience in minimally invasive, laparoscopic, and robotic oncological procedures. He is widely regarded as one of the pioneers of robotic surgical oncology in India and has contributed significantly to advancing robotic techniques for head and neck, breast, gastrointestinal, gynecological, and urological cancers.
His clinical expertise encompasses robotic and laparoscopic cancer surgery, with particular interest in head and neck cancers, gastrointestinal malignancies, breast cancer, thyroid cancer, colorectal cancer, and complex oncological procedures. He is known for developing innovative minimally invasive surgical approaches, including robotic thyroidectomy and minimally invasive neck dissection techniques.

Dr. Sandeep Nayak currently serves as Chairman – Oncology Services and Executive Director – Surgical Oncology & Robotic Surgery at KIMS Hospitals, Bengaluru. He is also Chief of Surgical Oncology at MACS Clinic, Bengaluru.
He has over 25 years of surgical experience and has performed more than 10,000 cancer surgeries. Previously, he served as Senior Director of Surgical Oncology and held academic appointments in reputed oncology institutions.
His expertise includes robotic and laparoscopic cancer surgery, head & neck oncology, breast oncology, gastrointestinal oncology, colorectal cancer surgery, thyroid cancer surgery, and complex oncological procedures.
